Bobby Alford Nobles, 77, went to be with his Lord Friday, Aug. 4, 2017 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center in Whiteville.
He was the son of the late Oliver and Eula Mae Ward Nobles. He was the husband of the late Betty Strickland Nobles and was also preceded in death by one son, Andy Alford Nobles.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7 at Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery with Rev. David Crumpler officiating. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family.
He is survived by two sons, Danny C. Nobles (Lisa) of Wilmington and Greg Nobles (Heather) of Clarendon; two sisters, Bernice Nobles Tori (Jim) of Chadbourn and Jannette Nobles Worthington of Whiteville; and five grandchildren, Scott Nobles, Zachary Nobles, Katie Nobles King, Mitchell Nobles and Bella Nobles.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center, 206 Warrior Tail, Whiteville, N.C. 28472.
