Bruhilda Register Stocks, 77, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at her home. She was born June 22, 1944, in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Johnny Walter Register and Eula Gray Long Register and the widow of Grover Colis Stocks.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Colis Darin Stocks.
Her family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at Peacock Funeral Home in Whiteville. Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 18, graveside at the Register family cemetery with Rev. Ragsdale Allsbrooks officiating.
She is survived by a son, Aaron Stocks (Shannon) of Tabor City; one sister, Sue (Gary) of Whiteville; three grandchildren, A.J. Stocks, Jessica Sasser and Victoria Stocks, all of Tabor City; and two great-grandchildren, Jeslyn Sasser and Stone Stocks.
