Charles Leroy ‘Pete’ Gunter, 77, died Tuesday, June 21, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Callie Gunter.
He was an U.S. Air Force Veteran.
The family will receive friends from 3-3:45 p.m. Thursday, June 23 at Shady Grove Church Cemetery in Bladenboro followed by a graveside service at 4 p.m. officiated by Rev. Jimmy Strole. Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Gunter of the home; two sons, Charles D. Gunter of Oklahoma and Tim Gunter of South Carolina; two brothers, Jerry Gunter of South Carolina and Billy Gunter of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Nancy Smith of Mooresville and Judy Horne of Lumberton; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
