Cheryl Evon Jefferson George, 67, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 at Columbus Regional Healthcare.
She was employed by Century 21.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20 at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road with Rev. Algernon McKenzie officiating. Viewing will be held from 2-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 at Peoples Funeral Home and Monday, Nov. 20 one hour prior to the service at the headquarters. There will be no viewing after the service. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 in the funeral home chapel, at which time Delta Sigma Theta Omega Omega rites will be performed. Burial will be in Mitchell Field Cemetery in Clarkton.
Surviving are her husband, Franklin R. George; her mother, Ruthie B. Jefferson of Whiteville; and two stepsons, Franklin R. George III of Upper Marlboro, Md. and Amar Mawusi (Byron George) of Sterling, Va.
