WHITEVILLE — Clyde Isaac “Goatman” Faulk, 65, died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 22, 1951 in Columbus County, the son of John H. Mitchell and Jenny Vee Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, April A. Gates; and two sisters, Frances A. Poole and Maxine Joyner.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12 at Campground Cemetery on Hwy. 701 N. with Rev. David Flowers officiating. Peacock Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Selena Faulk; two sons, James I. Faulk of Tabor City, Corey L. Faulk of Chadbourn; two daughters, Teaneace Vereen of Chadbourn, Shaquana Canty of Whiteville; three brothers, Luther Faulk of Whiteville, John Pridgen of Clarkton, Chancey Smith of Whiteville; one sister, Anna Bell Shipman of Chadbourn; and a host of grandchildren.
