Connie Nance Adams, 70, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 in Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Hazel Parnell; and her husband, Larry Nance.
She was retired from Farm Bureau Insurance following a lengthy career in bookkeeping, accounting and tax preparation. She held several office management positions during her career in Florida and North Carolina.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16 at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Final rites will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17 at Richardson Baptist Church in Bladenboro with Rev. Anthony Rich officiating. Burial will be in Singletary’s Cemetery Sand Hills.
She is survived by her husband, Tullen Adams of the home; two sons, Larry David Nance Jr. of Florida, Mark Nance of Bladenboro; four sisters, Delores Barfield of Elizabethtown, Barbara Smith of Holden Beach, Sharon Parnell of Bladenboro, Nikki Parnell of Louisiana; two brothers, Jimmy Parnell of Bladenboro, Mike Smith of Louisiana; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
