Cynthia Earlene Jenrette Stanley, 56, formerly of Nakina, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017 in an automobile accident.
She was the wife of the late Simon Stanley of Nakina.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 at Ocean View Missionary Baptist Association Center, 7550 Ocean Hwy. West, Sunset Beach, with Rev. Gordon Griffin officiating. Viewing will be held from noon-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6 at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville and Saturday, Jan. 14 following the service at the center. Burial will be in the George Washington Stanley Cemetery in Nakina.
Surviving are one daughter, Ebony Stanley of Fayetteville; one son, Simon D. Stanley of Laurel, Md.; her mother, Colene Jenrette of Sunset Beach; two sisters, Lorine Stanley of Sunset Beach and Priscilla Hewett of Raleigh; and two brothers, Dennis Wilson and Alonzo Jenrette of Calabash.
Friends may visit the family at 344 Charlie Stanley Road, Nakina.
