Daniel Herring, 79, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville. He was the son of the late Raymond and Martha Smith Herring and was also preceded in death by three siblings, R.C. Herring, Ray Herring and Milton Herring.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
He is survived by his wife, Henrietta Lucille Powell Herring of the home; one son, Bobby Lee Herring of Clarkton; one daughter, Tammy Herring Taylor of Whiteville; three sisters, Patricia Faye Simmons of Old Dock, Louise Littles of Bladenboro and Annie Ruth Cook of Concord; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
