Daniel Earl Stephens, 70, died Monday, Sept. 25, 2017 at his residence.He was the son of the late Rev. Charleston Stephens and Hattie McNaulty Stephens.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church #2, 2526 Hwy. 111, Little River, S.C., with Rev. James L. Smith. Viewing will be held from noon-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29 at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville and Saturday, Sept 30 following the service at the church. Burial will be in the Stephens-Wright Cemetery in Tabor City.
Surviving are one daughter, Remona Vereen of the home; one son, Anton Chris Martin of Greensboro; two sisters, Mae Teaste of Loris, S.C. and Hattie George of Chadbourn; and three brothers, Joseph Stephens of Loris, S.C., David Stephens and Freddie Gibbs, both of Whiteville.
