David Jerome Bracy, 89, formerly of Hallsboro, died Friday, March 17, 2017 at White Oak Manor in Waxhaw.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 23 at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 210 Hallsboro Road South, Hallsboro, with Rev. Franklin Graham officiating. Viewing will be held from noon-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 22 at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville and Thursday, March 23 one hour prior to and following the service at the church. Burial, with military honors, will be in Cutler Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Doris C. Bracy; three daughters, Gail Fowler of Whiteville, Sharon Pastore of Hope Mills, and Jean Bracy of Charlotte; and one son, David J. Bracy Jr. of Maxton.
Friends may visit the family at 825 Pinewood Drive, Whiteville.
