Don “Blok” Jacobs, 65, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville.
He was born Feb. 5, 1956, in Robeson County, the son of the late Sylvester Jacobs and the late Sarah Jane Freeman Jacobs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Marie Spaulding, Velmer Jacobs and Roberta Jacobs.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 30, at New Hope Baptist Church. His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at the church with Revs. Don Carter and Mike Jacobs officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Peacock Funeral Home of Whiteville is serving the family.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Gail Jacobs; four sons, Alex Patrick and wife, Jasmine and Kevin Jacobs, both of Bolton, Jay Jacobs of Tabor City and Brad Jacobs of the home; two daughters, Sirrina Jacobs of the U.S. Navy and Veronica Howard of Bolton; two brothers, Durkie Jacobs and wife, Paula, of Lake Waccamaw and Ralph Jacobs and wife, Rose, of Bolton; five sisters, Delphie Patrick and husband, Doc, Christine Patrick, Mary Jane Mitchell and husband, Frank, and Linda Freeman and husband, Peter, all of Bolton and Perleen Jacobs Simmons of Clinton; and seven grandchildren, Trevin Jacobs, Larry Ray Patrick III, Trayah Howard, Alexandrea Patrick, Meleah Howard, Shaley Howard and Julian Howard.
