Donna Jean Peterson Clifton, 69, died Monday, July 17, 2017 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. She was the daughter of the late Patricia Jean Morris Peterson and Donald Brown Peterson and was also preceded in death by three siblings, Janet Reynolds, Sandra Chapman and Bud Peterson.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, July 19 at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
She is survived by her husband, Sandy Dahl Clifton of the home; two children, Stacey Lynn Hall of Raleigh, Joseph Scott Hall of Whitebluff, Tenn.; three stepchildren, Richard Dahl Clifton of Korea, Edward Earl Clifton Sr. of the home and Brian Thomas Clifton of Holden Beach; siblings, Mike Peterson and Edith Peterson-Cano, both of Raleigh, Jeff Peterson of Whiteville, Dennis Peterson of Dudley; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
