Duval “Tony” Shipman, 75, died Monday, April 25, 2022, at his home.
Viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, April 29 in the Peoples Funeral Home Chapel in Whiteville. A graveside service will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, April 30, at Welches Creek Cemetery, 992 Millie-Christine Rd. in Whiteville with Rev. Franklin Graham officiating.
Surviving are his wife, Montez Jacobs Shipman; three daughters, Barbara Ann Shipman of Clarkton, Gloria Shipman of Whiteville and Vanessa Shipman of the home; two sisters, Annie Bryant of Yonkers, N.Y. and Ida Pearl Ham of Durham; and two brothers, Hubert Shipman of Whiteville and Rudolph Shipman of Las Vegas, Nev.
