Earl Stephens, 83, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center in Whiteville.
Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22 at Zion Wall Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Wendell Gore officiating. Burial will be in Belvue Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon-7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21 in the chapel of D&A Funeral Service and Monday, Aug. 22 one hour prior to and after the service at the church.
He is survived by six daughters, Glendora Barbour, Sylvia Stephens, Willadean Mock, Marvaleen Irving, Marcella McPhail and Valdenea Chavis; four sisters, Pearl Greene, Brenda Freeman, Evona Stephens and Doris Stephens; and two brothers, Emanuel Barr and Furnie Stephens.
Friends may visit at 113 Westside Drive.
