Edith Cribb Ezzell

Edith Cribb Ezzell, 80, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. She was born July 12, 1937 in Horry County. She was the daughter of the late Verlon and Zelma Hammonds Cribb.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, George W. Cribb.
Visitation will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8 at Peacock Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 at Peacock’s Chapel with Rev. Gary Ledbetter officiating. Interment will be in McPherson Cemetery in Beaverdam.
She is survived by three sons, Ronnie Ezzell and fiancée, Kristin Somers, of Wilmington, Dean Ezzell and wife, Rhonda, of Nakina and Marky Ezzell of Whiteville; one sister, Betty Fisher of Thomasville; seven grandchildren, Turner Ezzell, Adrean Ezzell, Anthony Packer, Summer Evans, Akin Ezzell, Lillian Ezzell and Nathan Giddeons; and five great-grandchildren, Sawyer Ezzell, Emmalynn Ezzell, Tyler Dawson, Devin Dawson, and Macie Packer.
