Essie Natasha Peterson, 41, died Friday, April 29, 2022, at her home.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, in the Peoples Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Nathaniel Best. Viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 5 and Friday following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Surviving are her parents, Willie and Mary Peterson of the home; one sister, Barbara Peterson of Greenville; one brother, Virgil Peterson of the home; god brothers, Jeffrey Powell (Dana), Jerry Murchison (Nanette) and Barron Smith (Gloria), all of Whiteville and Nathaniel Best (Helen) of Laurinburg.
