Garland Spaulding

Garland Spaulding, 76, formerly of Lake Waccamaw, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. He was the son of the late Walter Spaulding and Leola Spaulding.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 at Saint James Baptist Church, 3245 Old Northeast Road, Lake Waccamaw. Viewing will be held Wednesday, Feb. 14 one hour prior to and following the service at the church. Burial will be in the Saint James Cemetery. Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville is handling the arrangements.
Surviving are two sisters, Ella Mae Spaulding and Pauline Spaulding Freeman, both of Lake Waccamaw; and one brother, Will Spaulding of Lake Waccamaw.
