George David Pait, 78, died Wednesday, June 29, 2016. He was born May 4, 1938, in Bladenboro.He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Wilson and Sarah Bradshaw Pait; one brother, Kirby Lee Pait; his grandparents, David Timothy Jr. and Cornelia Callihan Pait and George Lennon and Hattie Ward Bradshaw.
He grew up in the Bladenboro/Clarkton area and graduated from Clarkton High School in 1956. He was an electrician.
The family will receive friends from 3-3:45 p.m. Sunday, July 3 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Final rites will be held at at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 3 at the funeral home with Rev. Boyd Britt officiating. Interment will be in Bullard Cemetery, Bladenboro.
He is survived by one son, Eugene Randall Pait (Randy) of Bladenboro; two brothers, Bobby G. Pate of Durham and Claybourn L. Pait Sr. of Pearl City, Hawaii; one sister, Joyce Pait Ellis of Ooltewah, Tenn.; and his former wife, Millie Elkins Thompson of Bladenboro.
