Gerald Scott McDaniel, 59, died Sept. 7, 2016.
A native of Evergreen, he was the son of the late Gerald Benton and Mary Madeline Nobles McDaniel. He was the owner/operator G. Scott McDaniel CPA-PC, and a member of Evergreen U.M.C.
Mr. McDaniel was a three times Past Master of Chadbourn Masonic Lodge, a member of Sudan Shrine Temple, Sudan Steel Drum Band, Scottish Rite Mason, Royal Order of Jesters and the Bailey Lodge in Greer.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 at Fairview Baptist Church, conducted by Drs. Wilson Nelson and Tom Burns. Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 at the church.
A service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11 at Evergreen United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Pat Inman. Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11 at the church. Burial will be in Evergreen United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Wood Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
The family is at the home.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Suber McDaniel of the home; two sons, Jason Scott McDaniel and fiancé, Beth Hinson, of Greer, Kyle McDaniel (Kristy) of Whiteville; one stepson, John Adkins (Cyndi) of Greer; and four grandchildren, Jonathan Adkins, Cameron Adkins, Jacob McDaniel and Kellan McDaniel.
