Helen Frances Wooton, 88, of West Bladen Assisted Living in Bladenboro died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Nina and Angelo Vitalone and the widow of Edgar Wooton.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 at Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church. Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 at the church with Pastor Donald Conway and Rev. Jim Skinner officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Lake Waccamaw. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara E. Schwartz of Egg Harbor City, N.J., Nina Wright of Hallsboro; seven sons, John Edgar Wooton of Atco, N.J., Anthony E. Wooton of Roanoke Rapids, Allen J. Wooton and Bret W. Wooton, both of Mars Hill, Paul K. Wooton of Titusville, Fla., Edgar K. Wooton of Danville, Va., Jerry L. Wooton of Carneys Point, N.J.; her sister, Lara Medoro of Winslow, N.J.; 29 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
