J.C. Covington Jr., 73, died Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 30 at Saint Luke United Methodist Church, 1407 Saint Luke Road, Dillon, S.C. Viewing will be held from noon-7 p.m. Monday May 29 at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville and Tuesday, May 30 one hour prior to the service at the church. There will be no viewing after the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving are two sisters, Emma Covington and Teresa Graham, both of Lumberton; and seven brothers, Benjamin Cobb of Liberty, Walter Covington of Clarkton, Wilbert Covington of Winston-Salem, Thomas Covington and Elijah Covington, both of Whiteville, Bobby Covington of Bladenboro and Terrance Covington of Chadbourn.
Friends may visit the family at 495 Legion Drive, Whiteville.
