Jared Allen, 16, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2017 in an automobile accident. He was the son of Gwendolyn Dickson Allen and Malcolm Allen of Riegelwood and Barry and Tracey Graham of Elizabethtown.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church, 1437 East Arcadia Road, with Elder Ricky Graham oficiating. Viewing will be held from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17 at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville and Wednesday, Oct. 18 one hour prior to the service at the church. There will be no viewing after the service. Burial will be in the Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Shanqweta Hawley of Hampstead and Malorie Hunt of Lumberton; three brothers, William Yeoman of Leland, Barry Best and Christopher Graham, both of Elizabethtown; maternal grandparents, Cleveland and Laura Mae Dickson of Riegelwood; and paternal grandparents, Walster Graham and Jackie Carter of Riegelwood.
