Jesse Creech


Jesse Colen Creech, 75, of the White Marsh community died Sunday, June 18, 2017. He was the son of the late Alfred James Creech and Annie Mae Sykes Creech and was preceded in death by one son, Arthur Lamar Creech  Sr.;  and two brothers, William Creech and James Creech.
He served in the U.S. Army for 20 years during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.

He also worked with the U.S. Postal Service for morethan 20 years. He was also a member of the Concerned Bikers Association.
A  memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 21 in the McKenzie Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Darryll Hester officiating. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, June 20 at the mortuary.
Survivors include his wife; Lucy Dores Creech of the home; three sons, David James Creech of Whiteville, Jerry Delane Creech of Augusta, Ga. and Robert Allen Creech of Whiteville; two daughters, Lucy Amelia Jones of Whiteville and Juanita Long of Lee’s Lake;  two sisters, Patsy C. Eason of Whiteville and Sherry C. Jordan of Abbottsburg; one brother, Phillip Dale “Pink” Creech of Whiteville; a special granddaughter of New York;  14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Veterans Memorial Park, P.O. Box 1003,  Whiteville, N.C. 28472.
