Jo Ellen Wynn Caulder, 69, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016 at her residence.
She was the daughter of Pete Wynn and Scretha Letendra and was preceded in death by two brothers, Thurman Wynn, Elton Wynn; and two sisters, Janet Blake and Loretta Hohnsbehn.
She was a member of Honey Hill Baptist Church and worked with BB&T at the Call Center.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30 at McKenzie Mortuary. Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31 in the mortuary chapel with  Rev. Troy Little officiating. Burial will be in Flynn Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Caulder of the home; three stepsons, Craig Caulder (Carol) of Marietta, Gordon Caulder of Black Mountain and David Caulder of Winston Salem;  one daughter, Lisa Carney (Jeff)  of St. Pauls; sons, Charlie Johnston (Lauri) of Roanoke Rapids   and Joe Johnston of North Carolina; one sister, Brenda Carroll of Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren, James Kittrell, Sheila Kittrell, Lisa Cox, Etta Currie, Haley McAdams, Daniel Johnston, Caleb Johnston, Kelcey Caulder, Adam Caulder, Jacob Caulder, Celia Caulder, Rilei Talton, Elizabeth Garrett, Jackson Talton and Elijah Garrett; and nine great-grandchildren.
