John Bernon ‘Frog’ Prince

John Bernon “Frog” Prince, 80, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, in the Regency Hospital in Florence S.C. Born Feb. 6, 1940, in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Aaron Edison Prince and Edith Williams Prince. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Dian Prince Barnes.

His funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13 at Tabor City Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic social distancing will be observed and all attendees are required to wear a mask. Inman Ward Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.

He is survived by one daughter, Amanda P. McCumbee and husband, Kirk, of Little River, S.C.; one brother, Eddie Prince and wife, Judy, of Tabor City; four grandchildren, Chan Durden and wife, Brittany, Chase Durden, Megan McCumbee and Kyle McCumbee; and six great-grandchildren, Kailey, McKinley, Jianna, Kaeson, Ashton and Kingston.
