John Steven Jackson, 57, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at McLeod Loris Hospital. Born April 7, 1961 in Marion County, S.C., he was the son of the late Frank S. Jackson and Jean Sinclair Jackson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Jackson; and one sister, Gail Blanton.
Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23 at New Life Baptist Church.Visitation will be held Saturday, June 23 from noon-2 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Green Sea Cemetery. Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City is handling the arrangements.
He is survived by two sons, Spencer and Zack; two brothers, Danny Jackson of Loris, S.C., Ken Jackson of Keavy, Ky.; one sister, Cindy Jackson of Tabor City; and his extended family Mark and Kathy Cox of Tabor City.
Memorials may be made to the Green Sea Baptist Church Memorial Garden Fund, P.O. Box 125, Green Sea, S.C. 29545 or New Life Baptist Church, 420 New Life Church Road, Tabor City, N.C. 28463.
