John William Price

John William Price, 65, of the Crusoe Island community, died Monday, June 4 at his residence. He was the son of the late Myrtle Idell Etheridge Price and John Wesley Price.
He was employed by International Paper for more than 29 years until his retirement in 2003.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 7 in the Myrtle Head Cemetery in Ash with Rev. Dewayne Griffin officiating. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Louise Cumbee Price of the home; one son, Rocky L. Price of Whiteville; five siblings Daniel Price, Randy Price, Ronnie Price and Bobby Price, all of Whiteville, Essie P. Fowler of Ash; and two grandchildren of Whiteville.
