Kathleen Bryant Ford Lewis, 88, went to be with her Lord Saturday July 2, 2016 at her residence.
She was the widow of John Luther Ford and J.C. Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas Bryant and Retha Mae Edwards Britt; three siblings, Carl Bryant, Betty B. Walker and Margaret B. Floyd.
She was employed in the textile industry for 45 years before retiring at Stone Manufacturing in Fair Bluff.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 5 in the Porter Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery with Revs. Mack Watts and Tim Moore officiating. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is handling the arrangements.
She is survived by four sons, James Robert “Bob” Ford (Jane), Daniel Thomas Ford (Janie), Harry Glenn Ford (Jo Carol) and Donald Richard Ford, all of Cerro Gordo; one sister, Willa Dean Morehead of Charlotte; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
