Mary Alice Boyd Alioto

Clarendon

Mary Alice Boyd Alioto, 80, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2017 at Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville. Born in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Eva Norris Boyd.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kitty Jo Hayes; three brothers, A.C. Boyd, W.B. Boyd and Wayne Boyd; and five sisters, Clara Boyd, Elouise B. Grimsley, Daphne Boyd, Hilda Simmons and Edith Buffkin.
Visitation was held Sunday, Nov. 19 at Inman Ward Funeral Home in Tabor City. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Tabor City.
She is survived by her husband, Nicholas ‘Nick’ Alioto; two sons, Charles Graham of Clarendon and Nicholas Blake Alioto of Tabor City; one daughter, Phyllis Edwards of Clarendon; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
