Mary Lee Williams Buffkin Pritchard, age 94 of Greenville, SC and formerly of Chadbourn went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Patewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Greenville, SC.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Columbus Memorial Park in Whiteville with Reverend Russel Long officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family.
She was the daughter of the late Ella Day Ward Williams and Dolphus McCray Williams and the widow of Clifton Roscoe Buffkin and Charlie A. Pritchard. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Billy Buffkin and Larry Mitchell Buffkin; three siblings, Annie Mae Evans, Miles Williams and Ken “J.K.” Williams; and a stepson, Donald Pritchard.
She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Dr. Terry Buffkin and his wife, Noelle of Greenville, SC; a daughter-in-law, Annie Ruth Buffkin of Whiteville; two step-sons, Charles Pritchard of Florida and Curt Pritchard of Lake Okeechobee, FL; grandchildren, Mitch Buffkin, Tomas Roscoe Buffkin, Craig Buffkin, Ritchie Buffkin, Dawn Morton, Jason Buffkin and Kristin Parker; great-grandchildren, Ashley Cox, Taylor Morton, Kelly Buffkin, Craig Buffkin, Ethyn Buffkin, Susannah Parker, Eric Buffkin, Adam Buffkin, Charlie Buffkin, Caroline Buffkin and Francie Buffkin; three great-great-grandchildren, Laci Mayden Buffkin, Adalyn Grace Buffkin and Ayden Barham.
