Metha Yvonne Dew Patrick, 59, died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center in Whiteville. She was the daughter of the late Vadie Lee Boswell Bass and Jimmy Maxwell Dew Sr.
A memorial service was held Sunday July 1 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church in Bolton with Pastor Mike Jacobs officiating. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn served the family.
She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Daniel Patrick of the home; children, Robert Justin Payne of Elk Park, Jason Allen Payne of Bear Creek, Alisha Michelle Jacobs of Bolton, Bobby Daniel Patrick and Sable LeAnne Patrick, both of the home; step-children, Barbara Howard of Holden Beach, India Cardenas and Briscoe Patrick, both of Leland; siblings, Jimmy “Buddy” Maxwell Dew Jr. of Bolton, Thomas Patrick Dew and Debbie Lee Dew, both of Hallsboro, Jamie Dew of Mollie; 12 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
