Michael Wayne Benton, 56, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2016 at his residence. He was the son of the late Lucian Moleon Benton.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Catherine Sarvis Benton of the home; two daughters, Misty Michelle Hill of the home and Michaela Wayne Reaves of Thomasville; his mother, Dorothy Smith Benton of Whiteville; siblings, Keith Benton and Kenny Earl Benton, both of Whiteville, Mark Benton, Paula B. Sasser and Tammy Benton, all of Hallsboro; and five grandchildren.
