Nina Ruth Lennon Williams, 74, formerly of the Piney Grove community, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 at Summit Place in Kings Mountain. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Lennon and Estelle Singletary Lennon of Evergreen.

She was a retired teacher of Columbus County Schools.

The funeral will be held at noon Monday, Dec. 4 at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 4911 Arthur Collier Road with Rev. David Lee Powell officiating. Viewing will be held Monday, Dec. 4 one hour prior to and following the service at the church.  There will be a wake Sunday from 2-3 p.m. in the Peoples Funeral Home Chapel in Whiteville. Burial will be in the Lennon Family Cemetery.

Surviving are three sisters, Anette Powell of Durham, Ina Hager of Kings Mountain and Linda Sagoe of Riverside, Calif.
