Oswald Franklin Williams, 69, died Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at his daughter’s residence in Honolulu, Hawaii.
He was the son of the late Herbert Franklin Williams and Ethel Newsom Williams.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 10, on the grounds of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 5548 Silver Spoon Rd., Whiteville, with Dr. Timothy A. Lance officiating. Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville is serving the family.
Surviving are his daughters, Edwyna Williams Brooks (Anthony) of Honolulu, Hawaii, Melinda Williams Nixon (Dwayne) of Fairbanks, Alaska and Brittany Nicole Williams (Jeremy) of Norwood; one sister, Joslyn Williams Allen of Winston-Salem; and five grandchildren.
