Patricia Reaves Brown, 68, died Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center in Wilmington. She was born Sept. 8, 1948 to the late Willie Lee Reaves and Ophelia Best Reaves. She was the owner of Nyla’s Healthcare in Rome, Georgia before retiring and moving to Whiteville.
A celebration of life service will be planned at a later date.
She is survived by one daughter, Ophelia Onwudiwe of Whiteville; two sons, William Diggs of Washington, D.C. and Deon Brown of Whiteville; one brother, Waitus Reaves of Harrisburg, Pa.; four sisters, Betty Parker of Oxford, Williemae Hall, Helen Reaves and Marilyn Reaves, all of Whiteville; and two grandchildren.
