Mrs. Reba Mills Jolly, 89, died Friday, Dec. 30, 2016 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center in Whiteville. Born Jan. 3, 1927 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Egbert and Osro Gilmore Mills and the widow of Ralph M. Jolly.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Lee Mills, Worth Mills, Ashley Mills, Wilson Mills; and two sisters, Veata James and Burnell Stanley.
Final rites were held Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017 in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, William Jolly (Brenda) of Whiteville, Thomas Jolly (Gail) of Tabor City; one daughter, Jean Spivey (Worth) of Garner; three grandchildren, Erin Hall, Jarred Jolly, Andrew Worley; three great-grandchildren, Stone Hall, Kaylyn Hall, Alex Worley; and a dear friend, Shirley Bragg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Iron Hill Baptist Church, 22247 Peacock Road, Tabor City, N.C. 28463.
