Rhonda Kaye Faircloth Scott, 57, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center. She was born Jan. 11, 1961 to the late Emma Frances Langdon Faircloth and Ernest Howard Faircloth.
The family will receive friends from 6–8 p.m. Wednesday, May 30 at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. Final rites will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 31 at the First Presbyterian Church in Whiteville with Dr. Joseph Washburn officiating. Interment will be in Whiteville Memorial Cemetery.
To cherish her memories she leaves her husband, William “Will” Lucius Scott III of the home; three sons, William Lucius “Luke” Scott IV and his wife, Kathryn, of Florence, S.C., Ethan Langdon Scott and his wife, Katherine, of Whiteville and Andrew Heath Scott and his wife, Erin, of Supply; four siblings, Nancy F. Thurston and Eddie Faircloth and his wife, Teresa, both of Whiteville, Howard Faircloth and his wife, Delana, of Live Oak, and Brian Faircloth of Durham; and three grandchildren, William Lucius “Liam” Scott V, Hattie Kaye Scott and River Langdon Scott.
