Rocky Lane Buffkin, 67 died Thursday, July 21, 2016. He was the son of the late Brice Buffkin and Reba Grainger Buffkin.
Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 25 in the McKenzie Mortuary Chapel with Dr. Tommy Bryson officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held from 1-1:45 p.m. Monday, July 25 at the mortuary.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Adcox Buffkin of Cerro Gordo; three daughters, Pamela Dawn Buffkin and Crystal Gail Buffkin, both of Cerro Gordo, Ashley Rockette Buffkin of Chadbourn; two sons, Michael Lane Buffkin of Cerro Gordo, Rocky Lane Buffkin Jr. of Whiteville; three sisters, Beronica B. McDaniels of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Petrina Buffkin of Aynor, S.C., Gail B. Poston of Latta, S.C.; one brother, Berwyn Buffkin of Lumberton; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the family or the mortuary to help with funeral expenses.
