Rosa Lee Peterson Williams

Rosa Lee Peterson Williams, 77, formerly of Council, died Thursday, May 31, 2018 at her residence.

Final rites were held Saturday, June 9 in the Peoples Funeral Home Chapel in Whiteville with Rev. P. Lorraine Jackson officiating. Viewing was held Saturday, June 9 at the funeral home at which time the family received friends.  There was no viewing after the service. Burial was in the New Hope Community Cemetery in Council.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas Williams; four sons, Thomas Williams Jr., James Williams and Darrell Williams, all of New York and Vernard Williams of Georgia; two sisters, Grace Miller of New York and Vivian Peterson of Council; and one brother, Louis S. Peterson of Council.
