Ruby Jane Blackwell Nobles, 78, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017.
She was born April 26, 1939 in Cerro Gordo, to the late Joe and Avie Blackwell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Tamela Keeling; two brothers, Junior and Jack Blackwell (Carrie); and an infant great-grandson.
She graduated from Cerro Gordo High School in 1958.
A private memorial service will be held by the family.
She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Robert Glenn Nobles of the home; one daughter, Jerri Kay Gilbert (Chris) of Atlanta Ga.; one sister, Sherlon Blackwell Miller (Robert) of Lexington; four grandchildren, Byron Gilbert, Jesssica Gilbert, Amber Deitwhiler (A.J.) and Jeremy Nobles; and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Crohn’s and Iileitis Foundation.
