Ruby Lee Strickland Watts, age 86, died Friday, July 7, 2017, in Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC.
Born in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Carlton Floyd Strickland and Ruby Jane Edwards Strickland.
She was the widow of Carlyle Watts.
She is survived by three daughters: Roxy Grainger (Randy) of Tabor City, Debbie Cartrette (Robert) of Tabor City, Wendy Fowler (Danny) of Tabor City. One son: Chris Watts (Teresa) of Tabor City; one sister: Agnes Soles of Tabor City, eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Earl Strickland and one sister Nedra Hardee.
Visitation will be held Sunday July 9, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 10, 2017 at 11:00AM in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Tabor City, NC. Burial will follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
