Sammie Joseph Davis, 71, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Final rites will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25 at Dublin Baptist Church with Rev. Cameron McGill officiating. Burial will be in New Pait Cemetery in Bladenboro.
He is survived by two sons, Darrin Davis of Raeford and Brad Davis of Raleigh; one brother, Ron Taylor of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Betty Davis of White Lake, Judy Jones and Sally Gooden, both of Elizabethtown; and three step grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mike and Judy Jones, 205 Jessup Ave., Elizabethtown.
