Shirley Sarvis Smith, 71, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at her home. She was born May 26, 1945 the daughter of the late Devine and Lettie Sarvis. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, E.C. Sarvis, J.D. Sarvis, James Sarvis; and two sisters, Dora Mae Beane and Margaret Kono.
Her funeral arrangements will be announced by Peacock Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband, W. C. Smith; three daughters, Betty Hilburn of Dillon, S.C., Patricia Blackwell of Whiteville, Tamatha Gore of Tabor City; and one sister, Edna Cartrette of Gastonia.
