Tamara Helms Smithwick

Tamara Helms Smithwick, 58, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2016 at Shoreland Health Care and Retirement Center in Whiteville. She was the daughter of Jimmy Helms and Shirley Roschy.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2 in the chapel of McKenzie Mortuary with Rev. Darryll  Hester officiating.
She is survived by two daughters, Candace Cheri McFadden of North Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Crystal Marie Sparkman of Little River, S.C., one son, Chad Stanton Smithwick of York, S.C.; her mother, Shirley Roschy of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and six  grandchildren.
