Verlena Delores Ellis Frink, 74, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center in Whiteville.

Final rites will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6 at the Brunswick Waccamaw Missionary Baptist Association, 600 Pinelog Road with Rev. Gordon Griffen officiating. Viewing was held Sunday, Nov. 5 in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Whiteville and will be held Monday, Nov. 6 one hour prior to the service at the association building. There will be viewing following the service. Burial will be in Belvue Cemetery.

She is survived by seven sisters, Carolyn Clark of Lawrenceville, Ga., Lisa Curry and Robin McKoy, both of Fayetteville, Wanda Brown, Jennifer Jones and Wanda Killen, all of Whiteville and Katie McMillan of Castle Hayne; one brother, Curtis McMillan of Whiteville.
