William ‘Bill’ Henry Stevens

William “Bill” Henry Stevens, 93, died Saturday, June 17, 2017 at McLeod Seacoast, Little River, S.C. Born Dec. 11, 1923 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Harvey Dewey and Frances Jones Stevens. He was predeceased by one sister, Madge Hardee; and four brothers, H.D. Stevens Jr., Vernon Stevens, Bermey Stevens and Wayne Stevens.

He was a member of Tabor City Baptist Church and a Master Mason of Tabor Lodge #563.

Final rites will be held at noon Monday, June 19 at Tabor City Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Monday, June 19 one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Myrtle Green Cemetery. Inman Ward Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

He is survived by his wife: Eunice McDowell Stevens of the home; one daughter, Julie Stevens of Wilmington; and one son, Jeff Stevens of Atlanta, Ga.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Helping Hands Ministry at Tabor City Baptist Church, 200 Live Oak Street, Tabor City, N.C.  28463.
