Philip Tanner Buffkin, age 14, died Wednesday, August 14, 2019 in the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC. Born February 17, 2005 in Robeson County, NC, he was the son of Philip and Kammy Buffkin.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother: Dawson Trayce Buffkin of the home; paternal grandparents: Ronnie and Ann Buffkin of Green Sea, SC; Maternal Grandparents: Harold Dean and Teresa Cribb of Chadbourn, NC: maternal great grandparents: Wilton and Evelyn Huggins of Chadbourn, NC.
He was preceded in death by great grandparents: Dennis and Gladys Buffkin, Ted and Rachel Norris, Bruce and Dorothy Cribb.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 16, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Green Sea Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Green Sea High School with burial to follow in the Green Sea Cemetery.
