Proposed ordinance changes could lead to lifting of county subdivision moratorium

The Columbus County Board of Commissioners will soon consider amending land-use ordinances to require a special-use permit for major subdivisions and a minimum lot size for properties without access to public water and sewer systems. 

The board made that decision Wednesday night during its joint meeting with the planning board
