Retired Columbus corrections officer finally gets Bronze Medal of Honor for rescue

Retired Columbus Correctional Institute Sergeant Dean Stump received a 2020 Bronze Medal of Honor on May 12 in Washington, D.C., for his actions saving two people after a November 2019 car accident.

The award came from One Voice United, a corrections officer advocacy group.
