UPDATED: SBOE orders new election here as county board says it did not ask state to do so

Questions remain about the North Carolina State Board of Elections (SBOE) decision Friday to order a new Republican primary election for Columbus County Commission District 2. The SBOE cited what they called a unanimous request from the Columbus County Board of Elections when they voted unanimously to order a new election
